Crock Pot Insert
What happen if you break the pot of your slow cooker because you let it slipped from your hand while holding it? If the main electronic cooker part and glass lid are still intact, you can still use it if you know where to buy the crock pot insert for your model.
Before you buy a crock pot insert, you need to know the exact measurements of the pot your current slow cooker is using. You need to find the width or diameter of the top area, the width or diameter of the bottom area, the height as well as the width of the area where the lid goes.
Not all crock pot inserts will fit into your slow cooker so you really need to find those measurements first before ordering one unless you don't mind buying the wrong size and wasting your time later asking for a refund or replacement.
If you are using an old slow cooker model, there is a high chance that you won't be able to find a new crock pot insert replacement. In such cases, you can always buy a used one. However, the problem with used insert is that some of them will have cracks, chips or scratches. So be sure to read the description carefully first and make sure that insert is free from cracks, chips or scratches before you make a purchase.
