Did you accidentally fall the lid of your crock pot and broke it? Almost every slow cooker model in the market will feature crock pot lids that are made of glass which are strong enough to withstand the heat from cooking but unfortunately, not so strong when you drop it on the floor.

Fortunately, you can buy these crock pot lids as replacement part for your slow cooker so that you do not need to waste money changing the whole unit. Depending on the model of course, some lids can be bought for as little as 10 bucks while others can cost you up to 20 bucks or more.

Before you buy any crock pot lids, it is important that you make sure that you're buying a lid that is designed for your crock pot model. Buying a lid from the same brand or manufacturer but different model doesn't mean it will work on your model too. You need to make sure the dimension of the lid matches and that it will fit perfectly for your slow cooker.

Also make sure that the lid is brand new and it has no chips or cracks when it arrives at your place. If you find any chips or cracks, immediately contact the seller and send it back for a replacement. Never ever cook your food in a crock pot with a lid that has cracks because it is very dangerous and you do not want to have broken glass chips in your food.
