Divided Crock Pot
A divided crock pot is a very unique type of slow cooker with divided insert that basically allows you to cook 2 separate side dishes in the top 2 divided chambers while the lower stoneware chamber holds an entrée for up to 6 people. In other words, it is a three chamber slow cooker that is designed to help you save time so that you do not need waste time cooking side dishes to compliment your entrée.
Other than that, the divided crock pot works pretty much just like any other slow cooker. It has three standard heat settings: keep warm, low and high. It is also smart enough to switch the crock pot into keep warm mode when the cooking cycle has ended so that your food will not be overcooked. Both ceramic inserts are not only dishwasher safe but also oven and microwave safe. So if you plan to use the ceramic pots as Dutch oven, you can safely do so.
The exterior of a divided crock pot is really stylish because it has a nice looking stainless steel exterior. Since it is a programmable slow cooker, you can program it to cook your food up to as long as 18 hours though most recipes only need 12 hours of cooking at most. With such a flexible and reliable slow cooker, you can be rest assured that every time you put in the ingredients into the crock pot in the morning before going to work, you know that when you come home in the evening, there will be a nice set of delicious meals waiting for you to enjoy.
You can also use the divided crock pots as serving dishes because they are both attractive looking when you place them on the table. This way, you won't have to prepare and wash any extra serving dishes. Talking about killing two birds with a stone! Because the insert crocks and glass lid are dishwasher safe, cleaning up is hardly a chore and it is also actually quite enjoyable to wash it by hand too.
